LLM Wars and Nidus Pets · Last updated 3 October 2026

This policy covers the iOS and watchOS games LLM Wars and Nidus Pets ("the apps"), made by GJ Goh ("I", "me").

The short version

The apps do not collect, store on a server, sell or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your game lives on your device.

What stays on your device

Microphone and speech (Nidus Pets)

If you choose to talk to your pet, Nidus Pets uses the microphone and Apple's speech recognition to turn your words into text. Where your device supports it, recognition happens on the device. On devices that don't, Apple may process the audio under Apple's privacy policy. I never receive or keep your audio or text. You can turn microphone access off at any time in Settings.

Steps and Health (Nidus Pets)

If you connect Health, Nidus Pets reads your step count so your pet can walk with you. It only reads steps, never writes to Health, and step counts stay on your iPhone and Apple Watch. I never receive them. You can turn access off at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access.

Your pet's replies (Nidus Pets)

On supported devices, your pet's replies are written by Apple's on-device language model. What you type or say to your pet stays on your device.

Notifications

If you allow them, the apps schedule local reminders on your device (for example, when your pet is hungry). No push server is involved.

Purchases (Nidus Pets)

In-app purchases are handled by Apple. I receive no payment details. The app checks your purchases with Apple to unlock what you bought.

Sharing (LLM Wars)

LLM Wars can create an image of your game stats. It is shared only if you choose to share it, using the share sheet, to the app or person you pick.

Game Center (LLM Wars)

If you are signed in to Game Center, LLM Wars sends your best model score, final fan count and final fortune to Apple's Game Center leaderboards, where other players can see them next to your Game Center name. This is run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; I don't receive it. You can turn Game Center off in Settings.

Children

The apps do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
